Vigor 2830 VPN Issue was created by dsimpson1975
We are experiencing a problem with the Vigor 2830 and duplicate VPN to a Cisco ASA 5510 and was wondering if anyone has come across the issue.
We have a Cisco ASA 5510 connecting to a number(62) of various models of Draytek routers(2600, 2800, 2820, 2830) which are setup in exactly the same way. On a couple of 2830's we have an issue whereby within the VPN Connection manager, there appears a duplicate VPN connection. Until we remove one of the duplicate connections, any pings we initiate from the Cisco end to anything at the vigor end isn't always successful. 3/4 pings out of 10 is the norm.
The firmware is 3.6.7 on the 2830 (problem on previous version 3.3 aswell)
Cisco ASA running 8.4(3)
All other models of Draytek Routers we have do not show this problem.
I have a screen shot of the duplication should anyone want to see it.

Was the extra profiles there before you created the LAN to LAN profile?
Do you have any kind of ACS server that may be trying to apply the VPN prolife for you?

Thanks for the quote reply.
On the Cisco ASA, the profile was there previously as the Vigor 2830 was a replacement from a previous model at the location.
We did increase the security protocol (3DES to AES) last year on all of our connections (Cisco & Draytek) but the connections have been setup for a number of years on the Cisco ASA.
We do not have any ACS in operation and no settings have changed from default.
