Babis; no-one's blaming you - you acted fine, but we just don't want you recommending it to others currently. Also, the files were not on a DrayTek official site, but the boot loader isn't a regular firmware file, or a beta firmware. The bootloader has no failsafe mechanism or recovery mode if things go really wrong as it was designed as a one-time factory prom procedures (firmware it stored in run-time memory until the unit has it safely, and if it goes wrong, the bootloader can enabled TFTP mode to do it over); the bootloader on the other hand has no guardian angel

Understood, it was only an avenue I was considering, I shall wait until Draytek UK release the correct/working firmware, and then I can use the 2760N as I originally intended back in 2013.
