Vigor 2860n LAN1 change subnet was created by edc
Hi
Our main network is on the .6 subnet, so that the IP address of the current Vigor is 192.168.6.253. I am trying to mirror this on a new 2860n, but I cannot vary the subnet of LAN1 (under the General Setup tab) because it gives the error that I cannot set the subnet to be the same as a disabled LAN. However I also cannot activate LAN6 which seems to me the obvious workaround.
I have seen something about enabling VLAN but I don't know what VLAN is and I don't think I want to...
Am I missing something?

you need to enable VLANs and then change the subnet on LAN 6.
