2830n WiFi dropout/rebooting was created by chazman88
Hi,

Originally had a BT homehub which would lockup, drop the wifi, and after a few minutes would reboot itself. Whilst the wifi was dead if you were connected with a cable you could still use the internet. I just assumed that it was a crap router so i replaced it with a 2830n.

Unfortunately im still getting pretty much the same issue. The wifi will drop out and then the router will instantly reboot itself. It does this from about once every 2-3 up to every 15 minutes. It does seam to depend on how many people are using the wifi at any one point.

This is the debug info from the router, was hoping somebody would be able to shine a light on this and give me some pointers.

Hi
I am not expert to read the debug but i see is reporting 3.6.4 RC3(this is a beta)
I am only posting to the point if there is the correct firmware with your model

Have you tried the finished firmware 3.6.4? (where did you download or was like this already when you got the new draytek?)
and also just in the case you have not loaded different firmware can you make sure you have the right model?
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/kb/kb_vigor_2830_dual_band.html
Many having dual band model and loading single band firmware
I am having the SB model and works fine my wifi
