I only noticed this issue recently when checking something else, my PC is wired to the router and only my sister`s laptop is wireless so I don`t notice any problems usually...

when checking the logs etc, I noticed that the router is booting up with the wireless security totally disabled. I can get online without any prompt for a password, which doesn`t seem very secure :!:

sample from syslog:

In the wireless settings area, I HAVE got it set to:

Wireless security Encryption: WPA-PSK
Type: WPA2
WPA Algorithm: AES
WPA Pre-Shared Key: **************** (< my correct password)

I`m testing with a USB adapter on my PC at the moment, and each time the router starts up from cold, the security is disabled - I don`t know how long this has been going on for, or what I can do about it.

I have sent an email to UK support, but that was four days ago and I`m getting a bit worried now, especially as I`m aware of it, and was curious if anyone here had already had a similar experience with the Vigor ?

Manually clicking "OK" on the Wireless Lan/General Setup page seems to kickstart the security back to life and I am prompted to enter the wireless password....but that`s obviously not right.

I`ve tried resetting the router back to default and setting it up again, but it`s still doing the same.
