Hello, I am new to this forum and greetings to you all.
I am also new to Draytek routers (but comimg from long experience with Zywalls).
I have noticed that in the WAN setup menu of the 2830 there is NO option to get notified with sms or email alert when the line drops, where as in the manual it clearly illustrates so.
Also I have noticed that if you completely disable IPv6 (clicking in the ipv6 logo button top left next to the autologout dropdown list) then the Internet Access details page for WAN1 & WAN2 does not load, it comes with an internal error page).

I have the 2850n model and for ipv6 have same problem

for wan 1 & 2 had same problem with my 2920n but firmware update solved

is firmware bug or keep loading other firmwares (not just firmware with same modem code) with out using the rst file

latest firmware is 3.6.3 for single band and 3.3.7.1 for dual band
http://www.draytek.com/user/SupportDownloads.php
If you going to update then you must use the rst file and start all settings from the begin
If you have updated already to this firmware and did not use the rst file then do master reset and reload with rst file

Are you talking about the mail alert option missing? or the disabled IPv6 bug in WAN1 and WAN2 details page?
I have already installed this to my client, and ofcourse I had reseted it before (using reboot with factory defaults)
Master reset is the hardware reset?

Hi
Sorry, No comment about the mail notification because i don't have the same model

i mean for ipv6 i have the same problem with ipv6 and one current beta firmware

also at wan 1 & 2 that will not let you add value had same problem again but with the 2920 model

So seems bug in the firmwares as most models having about same UI

If you have updated already the firmware to the latest then not sure what to suggest ... seems like bug

Can wait if some one reply (but is very slow here) or contact the support

Try open the with an other web browser like safari, chrome or explorer

I did try with IE, but gave up anyway. Actually i doesn't really matter so much, just have IPv6 enabled and all OK.
But mail alert for droped line missing is really a must.

Thanks babis3g (r u the same babis3g from GR? Your nick seems familiar!)
