AP800 will have to be connected to a PoE switch like a netgear GS110TP PoE switch
in the case of most of my AP700's they came with PoE splitter / injectors to split the data and power of the cable at the AP700 unit so i connected the CAT5 to a PoE switch
and my cameras work in reverse well most as they have PoE injectors to sent the power with data to the unit ( camera )
however the PoE is now standardised to 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) which the AP800 supports so no additional PoE splitter / injector.
all you need is a 802.3af Power over Ethernet capable switch like the Netgear GS110TP which i found to be a good produced even at the low price , usually i use HP Procurve switches but the netgear GS110TP is good
