IP Routing with Draytek 2820 was created by ludovic
Hello,

I'm using one Draytek 2820n - Firmware version : 3.3.5.3_232201. This router is connected to Internet.
I activated and putted 2 addresses on this router with enable "For IP routing usage" option :
- First address : 192.168.196.254/24
- Second address : 192.168.190.254/24
When I'm in the first network (192.168.196.0/24) and put the 192.168.196.254 gateway I can have Internet. My problem is when I'm in the second network (192.168.190.0/24) and put my gateway 192.168.196.254, I cannot have Internet even if I can reach the gateway.
So the IP routing doesn't work properly. Do you have some information about this problem ?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

This is not the intention of the IP routed subnet, it needs to be made of public IP addresses. It CANNOT be used to run two local subnets on the 2820.

You would need a 2830 router for this level of functionality.

Thank you very much for your complete answer.
But for me when I'm talking about IP routed subnet, that's means it's works until layer 3. An option called "For IP routing usage" is really misleading.
Anyway, thanks.
