I think so- I need to find the receipt. If it's < 2 years, will it still be covered?
*update*
Found a config file save from 2009, so I guess that's a non-starter.

Still the same. First column of lights flash for a few seconds, then there is an audible click and it settles down to the "hollow square" display as before.

Hi,
Ok,
Can you leave a MS-DOS command prompt with a "ping 192.168.1.1 -t" while you do this process ? (don´t forget to use a fixed IP on your PC (Ex: 192.168.1.10)).
Check if you get a ping reply while that 1st column lights.
About the audible click, it´s normal on Vigor VoIP models, since it´s the PSTN relay internal switch initializing.
regard,
rj

I've bitten the bullet and got myself a new 2830vn+ to replace the "brick" - if it is recoverable in any way, I'll use it for one of my colleagues, so still interested in solutions.
However: does anyone know if you can upload a 2820 config to a 2830, to save laboriously keying everything in again?
