Part NAT Part Routing 2820 was created by gbrown100
Hi I have a DSL line with 4 fixed IP's at my disposal. Been running the 2820 for 8 months perfectly fine. Now I would like to set up failover but with a more specialised scenario. The office next door also has a Draytek 2820 and 8 static IP addresses. I would like to have failover to their line and they to mine.

What this means is I want to continue to use 3 out of my 4 public IP addresses using WAN IP Alias and open ports pointing to my servers and use the 4th IP address as passthrough to the office next door. This means I need the Draytek to pass the public address through a particular LAN port without firewall / NAT so the next door router can have that address on it's WAN2 interface. Similarly I want next door's router to do the same so that I can use one fixed address on my router.

Any idea how I can do this?

Thanks

Graham
