2820vn Firmware file name is invalid! was created by craig100
Hi,

Wanted to upgrade from 3.2.0 to 3.3.4. downloaded and unzipped the correct file and using the Firmware Upgrade utility picked the file v2820_v334_232201_A.all and hit the "Upgrade" button. I'm then hit with an alert saying "Firmware file name is invalid, please check!".

I'm using Linux Ubuntu 10.4x64.

Does anyone else have this problem or have a workaround?

Cheers,

Craig

Found reason on this forum is because you HAVE to use IE with the old firmware. Luckily I had a VM with Windows on it so managed the upgrade.
