Just installed a 2710Vn done a speed test, download ok but upload low 0.29mb/s compared to my Netgear which is 0.37mb/s.
Can someone advise.

It's because it reserves a little bit of bandwidth for the quality of service for VoIP - you can disable that by entering these settings in the router's telnet interface:

adsl txpct 100
adsl rxpct 100
adsl reboot

That'll let it use 100% of the connection instead of reserving for QoS
