2710 - Does not accept password was created by yimpster
I have just received a new 2710n. The first thing i wanted to do was give it a new password and change the LAN IP address.

So. Changed the password. logged out and logged back in. OK

Changed the IP to 192.168.0.1

Rebooted. Tried to log back in. NOPE. Tested with both my new password. Default admin/admin and blank/blank.

Hard reset.

Now loged back in with admin/admin and just changed the IP address.

Rebooted. Tried to log back in. Nope. Tried with all passwords.

Hard reset.

Logged back in and updated the firmware with the latest one from the Draytek site. There was no version change but thought I would try it anyway.

Tried all of the above again. Still no joy.

Any ideas? Or have i been sold a duff?

Also having problems logging this on the online form. It won't accept my serial number and allow me to submit my request for technical support with Draytek.

Any ideas?

That login problem is probably down to the browser, have you tried using firefox / IE if it doesn't work with one or the other?

I think there was an issue with new serial numbers but they
have updated the web site now.

I had the same problem today. The problem was solved when I used a password without spaces. I suspect that other punctuation is also not accepted in the login page but is in the reset admin password dialogue.
