3G P2P/Torrent Blocking Vigor 2820 was created by joelang1699
Like most users I have a 3G PYG dongle set up with my Vigor as an emergency connection. I would like to see an option where P2P/Torrent traffic will be instantly blocked when the adsl connection fails over to the 3G one as we all know data on PYG dongles is extremely expensive and Im not always at the pc to stop torrents if the primary connection goes down.

Yep me too.

At the moment I'm look to monitor the output from syslog, and automagically kill high bandwith applications and disable VOIP (as vodafone don't like it). Hopefully...

I couldnt agree more with previous request.

Why not have seperate CSM for each WAN?

Also on much cheaper Dovado routers you can input your monthly data allowance and not only will it monitor usage but it will send you a SMS to warn you when you are approaching your limit.

Why dont draytek go one further and have it send you an sms if there are any syslog issues or CSM activates ?

One last thing, quite a few dongles have SD card slots in them now - will draytek sort it so the router can not only have 3g backup but can acess the sd slot as usb drive at the same time?

Go on, you know you want to :-)
