I was thinking there is no reason you couldnt have both default gateways on the same subnet - e.g. ISP1 as 192.168.1.1 and ISP2 as 192.168.1.2 - but I havent actually tried that on the Draytek, so if that doesnt work its a bit of a shame.

I think the only way to do that would be to use two different devices, one for each connection. As far as I know there are no routers that will do that.
(There may be some when you get into the really expensive kit, but not at this price)
