streaming latecy issue was created by maxweller
Hi,

Please help

I have a DrayTek Vigor 2600G Router Firmware Version 2.5.6_UK and I am with Talk Talk LAN.

I have never had a problem with the Router described above, until I had Windows reinstalled.

Since I got it back it has taken some time, to reset everything.

I now come to setting up my email client, and Internet.

I have noticed that I have a very bad latency issue, when streaming.

The audio and picture is totally out of sync, with each other.

The visual picture is terrible, start a bit then stop start.

I never had a problem with it before, it was perfect.

I was told that my setting would remain the same on my router, but I have noticed that it is set to auto settings.

Talk Talk have tried to help, but are not familiar with this router.

They have told me that my MTU = 1432 for Talk Talk, But I cannot find MTU.
These are the settings that they advise.

VPI =0
VCI =38 connection type = PPPoE/PPPoA
Authentication = CHAP
encapsulation = VSMUX
IP address = Dynamic
Can you tell me where to find the equivalent to these settings on my router, and where to put them.

The only one I have found is PPPoE/PPPoA.

Please help me with this, as video streaming is a very big part of my business.

Please respond to this ASAP.

Kindest Regards
