I think it would be benificial to have a 3g Modem built in to the 2820 so that its not nesscary to have a 3g Modem sticking out of the front of it and you could just have a sim interface on the router.

It would be beneficial but make the unit much more expensive, which would be a bad thing for people who don't want 3G. If you make it a special model, it probably would be a lower seller and thus not economical. IMHO.
