I've installed it. So far I've found:

ADSL2+ syncs faster.
The static NAT quirk from the last official firmware has been fixed.
Menus seem to draw slightly slower.

i been on 333 rc1 for past month or so which has been stable, although there is a bug with adding IP objects

for example when i try to add a single IP as an Object this error comes up.

is that working in rc5?

Get Control Name Error !

The latest configuration will be ignored, and system administrator should return to previous webpage to configure again.

I found the 2820 was veryu unstable when using 333r5. The router would process traffic, but would then lockup. I had to power cycle it.

I have 443 port forwarding and a VPN tunnel setup with WPA-2 Wifi setup. I also use a standalone VOIP phone on my desk.

Back to 332.1 and all is ok.

I've also found that 333 RC5b is unstable - the web admin page becomes unaccessable after its been running for about 24hrs and needs a reboot before it can be accessed again.

It's starting to get to the stage that I would prefer a "less capable" but "more stable" router.

I think it's suffering from feature overload and there are way to many bugs now.

I mean if I can find a "show stopper" bug by just leaving the router powered on for 24 hours what kind of testing can the developers be doing.

I suspect there is a resource leak issue. Initially I wondered if the problem was that I had a syslog server defined that was not actually powered up. Now I wonder if it's the fact that I have a VPN lan to lan connection.

Either way, there is only so much experimentation I can do before BT thinks there is a problem and drops my IP Profile.
