Hi,

we have a client with 2 ADSL lines into the building. One of these is currently used solely for VOIP (192.168.0.x) and is plumbed into a ZyXel router. The other is used for DATA (192.168.1.x) and was, until today, also plumbed into another ZyXel router, but it was flakey at best and needed replacing, so we've put in a 2820.

The client is happy with the performance of the draytek, but would like it to failover to the VOIP connection if his ADSL dies.

I've connected the WAN2 port to the ZyXel and assigned it a static IP on the VOIP subnet, but no matter what I do, I can't ping the zyxel rouer, or indeed any device on the 192.168.0.x network.

What do I need to do to enable the 2820 to route all it's traffic through a different router on the WAN2 network ?

Thanks,

Jake
