Hi all, I've got my 2820 set-up with my local network IP range as 10.12.1.x MSK 255.255.255.0.

I've also got a IPSec Tunnel VPN connection working to connect to a remote network IP range of 192.168.222.x MSK 255.255.255.0, connecting via remote IP 80.xxx.yyy.zzz on WAN1.

Now I can remote desktop to the remote server using the 192.168.222.100 ip address but if I try to access a web page on that server (it has IIS installed) it just times out. The web page is on 192.168.222.100:8088

I can access the web page fine on the server itself using the 192.168.222.100:8088 ip address.

Do I need to set-up a static route or something? If so how do I do it?

Cheers,
Gareth.

You should not have to set up static routes. I know nothing about IIS, but is it set up to allow connections from the 10.12.1.x network or does it restrict its access to its own LAN?

2900Gi/v2.5.6; 2900/v2.5.6

I would suggest installing wireshark on the remote IIS box and seeing if any HTTP packets are making it there?

If they are - check the bindings on the website properties to make sure the website is indeed listening on that IP address (your local test should have confirmed that - but worth a try)

Are there any firewall rules\filters on the remote end - potentially dropping your traffic? (Wireshark will identify that)
