BTW. Just tried with the *.rst version of the firmware 3.3.2 and now everything is okay.

May the reason was really a config mismatch :roll:

Nutella69,

If you have a copy of your previous configuration then maybe you could send that to support and they could put a unit on 3.3.0 with the cfg and see if the situation is reproducable.

Hi All,
Just Updated my 2820n to Beta Test Firmware Version 3.3.2 RC5 Now have a nice expensive brick. Can't connect to router as the hub is down computer shows no connection no connection led on RJ45. Tried resetting no differance the act,usb & csm leds flash rapidly then all 3 light steady. then all led flash on including the RJ45, then wlan lights steady then all the 9 leds flash then goes back to the 3 leds on and just keeps repeating.

Read http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/kb_vigor_reflash.html especially the section on "Abnormal Firmware Conditions". The reset button refered to in the text is on the front of the 2820 (this was originally written for the 2800 but still applies)

@A Lancashire Lad

I would use only the *.rst version in the future - it's safer :roll:

But don't worry, it's not a brick - just follow the "Abnormal Firmware Conditions" guideline mentioned by nrb501.

Cheers
