traceroot with 2820 on WAN2 was created by norman5007
Hi guys, I couldnt find any hints about a problem/solution for my traceroute issue with my Viigor 2820. When using traceroute in the diagnostics menue I am always receiving 600ms as a response. I typical traceroute is copied here:
Trace through WAN2.
traceroute to 193.xx.xxx.xx, 30 hops max through WAN2 protocol ICMP
1 10.xx.xx.x 600 ms
2 80.x.xxx.xxx 600 ms
3 195.182.179.85 600 ms
4 195.182.178.137 600 ms
5 212.43.162.218 600 ms
6 62.253.185.117 600 ms
7 62.253.185.81 600 ms
8 80.81.192.132 600 ms
9 82.98.98.106 600 ms
10 193.99.144.85 600 ms
Trace complete.

However, when using web based tools I get proper timings back. Anything wrong with the 2820?

My configuration is:
WAN1: idle
WAN2: connected (to virgin cable modem)

I used both options in the traceroute menue (via WAN1 and WAN2) as well as UDP and ICMP. Stillm response remains 600ms.

Anyone with some words of advise?

Norman
