Hi Folks

Can anyone confirm the firmware version that includes the port sniffing commands for a vanilla 2820 please?
I'm running firmware 3.3.0 and the 'port sniff' options are not there.

Happy to upgrade firmware to 3.3.1 or 3.3.2, dont want to do it twice.

If both firmwares have the option, what do forum users recommend as most stable please?

I was going to say the 2820 doesn't allow this, but I noticed they talk about it in their new updated front page links.
It isn't in the version I'm using, which is quite recent. One would think it is available in the official version on their website but that is so old now I doubt it.
I'll try and contact someone and ask them.

Log a call for support and ask for 3.3.2 RC5 as it contains these functions.

Tested with smartmonitor, and works a treat!

do you mean 2820 with new firmware update to 3.3.2 RC5 can do port mirroring and works well with smartmonitor?
