VigorBX 2000 to receive PSTN from Vigor2860acv

What I would suggest is porting the PSTN number to a SIP trunk as a DDI.

Then set up a BX2000 with the ported number as an 'Alias'. This lets you put a label on incoming calls e.g 'xyz guesthouse' plus show the caller id.

Then enable remote extensions and you can have your phone handset in any location with an internet connection.

Hope the above makes sense but if not, post back and I'll try to expand on it.

cheers, Gordon

will this work for another location.
Location B has a Vigor 2860VAC ( VPN to main Office ) any incoming calls from PSTN of location B routed to Location A to VigorBX 2000

I've read the Draytek Guide on this and looks pretty straight forward

I don't think that would work. I've only ever used Gamma SIPs and they are tied to a particular IP address for authentication. So 2 sites couldn't use the same SIP trunks.

Will write some more later when I finish work.
