2820Vn can I dial to a specific phone port using IP not SIP?

I have two offices each with with a 2820Vn and blocks of 8 static IP addresses at each site.

I want to be able to connect two phones to each Vigor and then setup Phone Book entries to allow them to dial either extension at the remote site.

But I can't find any way to specifically route the call to port1 or port2 at the other end. The phone book entry just seems to allow the entry of the IP address. Is there a way to specify which port should ring at the other end?

or can I assign different IP addresses from my block of 8 so that each port has a separate IP address.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You should be able to dial IP numbers, using * instead of full stop.
Then just set them up in speed dial.

Yes I can dial IP numbers like that or put them in the phone book but I want to be able to specify which phone port will ring at the other end. I posted the question to Draytek support and they said it is not possible - when you dial the IP address of the 2820 both phone ports will ring.

Guess I'll have to set up a series of SIP numbers after all.

I may. Wrong on this but can't you dial

accountA@wanip

accountB@wanip

and then setup SIP profile 1 with the username as accountA with ring port 1 and SIP profile 2 as ring port 2?

I don't think the Sip accounts need to be registered for them to use the account name

Or have an extra SIP account for one port only at each end.

e.g. 88888888@draytel.org only rings port 1
86563453@draytel.org only rings port 2

Then you could even use the digitmap to set up a short code....
