SkyQ and Draytek 2862 was created by jamiepwooduk
I have an issue with SkyQ and my Draytek router. The SkyQ will not stay connected to the internet when Draytek is the router. It connects and the disconnects in a constant loop. Swapping out for Apple Router + BT Modem fixes the issues immediately.
Tried so far:
1. Draytek firmware upgrade.
2. SkyQ firmware upgrade.
3. SkyQ static IP
4. SkyQ Google DNS
5. Turn on/off IGMP Proxy
6. Turn on/off IGMP Snooping
7. Turn on Jumb Frames
8. Disable DoS Protection
All without success. Any help very much appreciated.

You might already have your problem sorted by now, but if not then here's what works for me.
- Set the DNS server on the SkyQ box to be 8.8.8.8 (Google's DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare)
- If you have more than 1 WAN, then you need to set a route policy so that the SkyQ box only uses a single WAN. I would use the fastest connection available here.

I've had an issue with Sky Q constantly changing between network being ok or not if "DNS Security" is enabled on my 2862.

We have zero problems with the 2862 and Sky Q.
How many Sky Qs and are they all hard wired to the network?

Is wifi turned off on the Sky Q boxes in the installers menu?
