Was there a particular reason you bought the 166 and not the 130? I've been running a 130 for several years (BDCM cabinet, only 40mbs due to distance from exchange) and it's been rock solid.

Two reasons.
Firstly the 166 has two LAN interfaces enabling High Availability, second the price difference between the 167 (130 is no longer made) and the 166 was about £10.

Piste Basher, thought about what you said over night and can see used 130's are circa £30 on Ebay. Might be worth a punt as it looks like I'll be sending the 166 back and although my cabinet is G.Fast enabled I am just (20 meters) outside the supported range.
