Vodafone Data Sim and Draytek 2862lac

Vodafone Data Sim and Draytek 2862lac was created by buggerall

I have a 4g Vodafone data sim, when inserted in the 2862lac it shows 'data sim ready' but does not connect. The sim works ok in a Huawei router. Any thoughts?

Likely the access point name or connection method (PPP) - experiment with settings...

see LTE Internet Setup on DrayTek LTE routers https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-ltewanconfig
go to APN List and try your version of Vodafone APN credentials

Thanks set APN to wap.vodafone.co.uk , Username to web and Password to web and it works. Found the values in the Profile Management screen on a Huawei E5573B.
