DSL stats help. was created by nirvanaav
Hi,
I know very little regarding DSL stats and would like some help, hopefully to try and identify an issues at a customer's property.
The customer keeps complaining of slow or dropping internet but they always reboot everything before they let me know of the issue, they are also unwilling to help diagnose in anyway!
I noticed a couple of things on the DSL stats i would like to clarify, also if anyone notices anything out of the ordinary.
The two items i noticed on the stats:
Actual PSD - this is a negative number.
ReTx - I believe this is vectoring, why would it be only enabled on the upstream?

Replied by adrianh54 on topic Re: DSL stats help.
The PSD value looks a bit odd.
ReTx is G.INP ( impulse noise protection, a type of error correction.) , not vectoring.
The firmware listed does not show Vectoring as being available.
