AP903 dropping off network was created by teruel
I've rolled out a fair few of these.
Really great kit and very reliable!
However, recently I cam across a case recently where in a SoHo network - one device keeps on dropping off.
Background specs:
-it's in AP mode
-it has its on IP
-same subnet as main router (Virgin Media)
But it's SSID will sometimes disappear. Then when you try to login into it, you can't - really frustrating.
Anyone - any ideas?

Hardware fault? PSU, maybe?

Thanks for your reply.
But in all these cases. The device would be brand new!
Put it another way, what might prevent accessing the login page of any Draytek AP, even when you know the IP address of the device?

Thanks Pete.
Device does have a Static IP.
The VM modem is acting as DHCP.
I have no reason to believe the VM Hub has a limited DHCP range I would assume its 192.168.0.2 - to 192.168.0.254

If the AP is cabled to the router and you can't connect to it then it seems to me that
a) it's faulty
or
b) it doesn't have the IP address that you think it has. Possibly be an IP conflict or something like the above?
I'd try Advanced IP Scanner (free) to see if that can find it....
