Vigor 130 Time & Date settings was created by cryoman
Sorry if this is the wrong board...
I have just updated the firmware on my Vigor 130 Modem to 3.8.4.1_BT
Now I can't find anywhere to set the Time & Date, or to select a Time Server
Should it reset the time date zone etc itself ('cos it hasn't)
Is this a glitch with the new Firmware?

I don't know what firmware you were on before (and 3.8.4.1 has been out for a long time) but afaik it's never been possible to set the time and date on the 130. As I said in response to another poster, why would you want to? I wasn't convinced by his reasoning.

You could never set the time and date on the old Openreach modem either - these things are just modems

Hi Piste Basher, thanks for taking the time to respond.
Like you perhaps, I came from a BT OpenReach modem which you couldn't access.
I understand all you said, and why indeed would I want to?
Well, it's just annoying.
Of course it really isn't a showstopper but if you can't change/correct it and it is always incorrect why put the date/time etc there in the first place?
Call me old fashioned but seems to me if it is always going to be wrong just remove it.

My guess is it's there because the 130 in other markets is actually a basic router, not just a modem. For whatever reason when they removed the router functionality they left some things behind...
