Hello all,
we have a very simple LAN at work we've outgrown our little 8 port TP link switch. We have a lovely 2865ax router here and out in the field.
So I'm thinking it would make sense to stick with draytek when we purchase a bigger switch.
Can anyone suggest a 16 to 24 port switch that would work nicely with our 2865 please?
I would need to be PoE as well.
We're not appose to buying second hand either so if someone knows of an older model that would work we'll research that too. many thanks

I've got a G1241 which I bought second hand a while back and it worked well with my 2860 and now works well with my 2927.
It's 10 years since it had a firmware upgrade so if you need something "in support" it won't do, but behind a router on current firmware I've not had any problems with it.
24 ports 1Gb/s. Not PoE so perhaps a deal breaker for you.
If I were buying a replacement I would be looking at something with some 10Gb/s ports but for something cheap on the second hand market the G1241 has done well.
I bought it for VLAN support and to rationalise a bit of a commection of 100Mb/s and 1Gb/s unmanaged switches.
