Sky Fibre IPV6 Set Up? was created by philip1193
Hi,
I have a 2862 and i have got it working with IPV4 fine, but i'd like to get it working with IPV6. My sky q hub works with IPV6 no issues.
I've tried firmware 3.8.8.2 and 3.8.9.1
My settings are as follows...
However when the router reboots it simply gives me this.
ANy pointers?

Doesn't connection type have to be PPP?

Not with Sky. It doesn’t use that connection type.

Hello
I am also wondering how Drayteks need to be set up in order to get IPv6 through DHCPv6.. It works when WAN is PPP but when WAN is DHCP (Hyperoptic for example, Virgin...), it doesn't seem to work, do we need to manually specify the prefix? But if you keep the Sky Hub and connect your Draytek to it, you will get an IPv6 address I believe
Actually, how do you configure your Draytek for Sky Fibre (not ADSL), on WAN1? I read this was best to keep the Hub with Fibre subscription but I am interested to know your settings as I remember this was not the usual settings (like BT)
Thanks

I used this guide previously and it worked a treat (on both 2820 and 2860s):

Thanks for the link, I will try it out when I get a chance!
For IPv6, what if you bridge it with LAN1 and try with your laptop? Do you get an IP?
