Vigor 2760n Router - Version 3.8.2.2_BT was created by itgeek46
Hi all,
When accessing the router's configuration, there should be an option for a static route, however, I do not have this option.
Can someone possibly advise why this is so, as I would expect this to be a box standard setting/configuration for all router's....would it not be?
Thank you in advance.
Dave

The Vigor 2760 does not support static route on the standard version.

This is the reply I received, after raising a ticket;
Dear David,
Thank you for contacting technical support.
Unfortunately, Vigor 2760 doesn’t have this option to setup a Static Route. Please also refer the specification of Vigor 2760 from the link below.
http://www.draytek.co.uk/products/soho/vigor-2760#specification
You are referring that your customer has static route enabled in the router, in that case we would need to look at the serial number of that model, it may be possible that your customer is using a non-UK version of Vigor 2760.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
Hetal

My Reply to Support - Ticket Raised.
Dear Hetal
This is a SOHO router and I am using a 2760n at home, with a subnet to a server 2012R2 at home for my MCSA studies. This router was not cheap (£199) and I purchased this on a recommendation and research.
The Static Route is a standard setting for any router, why is this not available?
Can I ask, what is going to be done to resolve this, not just for me but for other owners?
I have found a work around this, however, Static Route is required to direct traffic/broadcasts to a specific device and I cannot complete this.
I await your response with disappointment.
