2760n borked by 3.8.2.1_BT was created by memiself
Hello All,
While trying to update firmware over internet, the page timed out. After reconnecting there was a message saying should update before rebooting else may be trouble.
So updated, apparently successfully, rebooted and there was trouble.
ACT and USB2 light flash rapidly after reboot.
I've pressed reset both when powered up and during power on.
Is there a way to fix it using Firmware Upgrade Utility (FrmUpg) ?
I created a ticket, they suggested pressing reset on the front... there are no buttons on the front, it's on the back. I think they've confused it with a 28 60 not a 27 60.
I found instructions for using Firmware Upgrade Utility with a 28 60 but not a 27 60.
TIA.
P.S. with PC set to static 192.168.1.11 I can ping 192.168.1.1 (mac 00-1d-aa-00-00-00) but get nothing onhttp://192.168.1.1

Don't know which instructions you found but most of the draytek routers work the same for TFTP firmware upload. The link I have is
http://www.draytek.com/?a=resource/update&action=post/update&id=1852
.
In essence in this factory reset state accepts TFTP firmware upload (only) on the default IP address. But you do have to use the firmware upgrade utility or other TFTP client software, you cannot access it via HTTP in this state.

OK.. the borking firmware was 3.8.2.1_BT
Using FUG loaded 3.7.8.2 rst (which I still had lying about) and restored config.. all OK.
Does anyone have (or know where can get) 3.8.1?

@jedi98 I used the instructions for the 2860.. with 3.8.2.1 after using the FUG the lights 'went normal', I could get a login screen but no more.. the lights quickly 'went mental' then browser lost connection.
Currently on 3.7.8.2, looking for 3.8.1
Cheers.

Try
ftp://ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2760-Delight/Firmware/
for old firmware.
I am taking it that this was NOT one of the (older) linux based 2760 models that run the 1.x.x.x firmware.

Def. DrayOS, "Delight" ( ) currently have 3.7.8.2 running.
I had seenftp://ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2760-Delight/Firmware/ but there's no sign of "UK only" or mention of "3.8.2.1_BT" .. just _STD or _VECTORn so I'm a bit wary.
Mine is Annex A modem codes 574307 & 571801 I believe.. so _VECTOR2 (or 3) ?
It would be nice if the previous UK versions (at least the one before) were available onhttp://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads .
