2860 NAS won't work was created by anparkinson
I have a 1GB hard drive in a USB cradle that I have plugged in my 2860.
I cannot get it to show in my router. The USB device status says "No Disk connected".
I have enabled Samba service for LAN and WAN.
What am I doing wrong?

Update - I've tried 2 more external hard disks, Samba service on and off but the router will not find any of them.
I just get the "No Disk connected" in the USB status page when I refresh.

Silly question maybe but have you formatted the drive as FAT32?

Formatted to FAT32 and still not detected.

Earlier Vigors needed FAT32 I believe. Not sure about the 2860. Have you tried a USB stick just to see if it works? Mine detects those without problem.
