TELNET Guide - 3900 - Please!!? was created by noooodlez
Hi All.
I have used many draytek routers over the years, 2600s, 2800s, 5510s, 2830s, 2850s. Every model has been a bit quirky with regards to the telnet/console commands available. With the telnet user guide (2009 version on draytek.com) I have been able to fumble my way through even if not all commands worked the same.
Now I have a 3900 with a new OS. I may as well throw the telnet reference guide out of the window!
If telnet is a supported feature, please can we have an up-to-date reference guide for the current models?
Do any Draytek boffins out there know how to send a sys reboot command on a 3900??
Thanks
Steven

It does have a completely different syntax to the other draytek routers which renders the existing telnet guide useless for it, so it would be quite nice if that could happen. I don't think the manual even covers the CLI of that router?

Haha - that's nearly ios syntax.
I would welcome a reference guide for telnet for the various boxes; it's always possible sifting through, but hardly quick.

You are correct, I hadn't noticed that the bottom half of the help pane was contextual.
Found the reboot command when I knew what I was looking for!
You would have though they could pull this out of the code in some sort of raw format to give a map for each firmware version!
