EE Signal Box Problems was created by gungey
We've got an EE Signal Box - a Siemens FAPr-hsp 5110 which is a femtocell that should give us 3G coverage with EE indoors.
For some frustrating reason, it just isn't connecting to EE. They've replaced the box once before, so I'm fairly sure that the hardware is ok.
Has anyone got this running with a Draytek 2860? I wonder if there's an incompatibility somewhere? I've read that there are problems with this Femtocell and other routers, as I assume this device connects via VPN to EE somewhere.
Any advice would be most welcome!

Is the connection using PPPoE? If so, ask if Draytek have a beta firmware, I was sent beta r41111 for the 2860 for a similar issue with a sure-signal and it got the sure-signal to connect.

There is a beta posted below (last week) by the admin, seems latest r41552 and seems it fixes few issues

Tried that firmware, but no luck unfortunately.
Did you have to tweak anything else?

No sorry, as long you are aware it use only FAT32, take a look at the user guide section 3.18 (page 386) if you have set something wrong
ftp://ftp.draytek.pl/Seria_2860/Instrukcje/V2860_UserGuide_v2.5.pdf
Try contact the support if someone else will not reply
It may sound silly suggestion but i have seen a case (not with draytek) so swap the usb port just in case there is a bug at the one you are using now
