Hi guys,

Hope you can help..

We've some 2820n 's in place with a wireless network secured by WEP. (i know, i know..).

Anywho, when trying to connect Mac clients running 10.6 or 10.7 the macs conect but then do not get an IP Address.

There is no Mac Address filtering in place, & i've tested this on 2 2820n 's.. one of which i upgraded to the latest & greatest firmware.. same issue.

Other devices seem fine..

if i disable the authentication.. the error persists..

If i create a 2nd SSID with WPA authentication.. the error persists..

Are there known issues with 2820n's & macs?

2820vn's seems fine.. as do 2830's...

i've also changed the auth levels to WPA2 for this network.. & same issue..

I've reset both 2820's & just enabled the wireless.. no other settings changed..

The macs tested range from internally built to externally built.

Its not a channel 13 problem is it? MACs dont work with 2820s when they are on ch13.

Are you running Lion ?

There were the odd wifi issues with Lion that was patched, I didn't have any issues when I used my 2820n and Macbook Pro running Lion.
