Syslog / Mail alert setup problem was created by kwalter
Hi

Not sure if this is a bug or just me being dumb, but every time I fill in Syslog / Mail Alert info, it's all wiped as soon as I move out from that menu

New 2820n firmware 3.3.3_232201

Any ideas?

Cheers

Keith

Thanks for that - although having read some of the posts about the 3.3.4 firmware upgrade I'm a bit nervous about installing it

In for a penny......

Thanks

Hmm - firmware upgrade to 3.3.4 went OK and page now accepts user input, but none of the test mails I've sent have turned up - something still wrong somewhere :-(

Have you got the server address in as an IP or a hostname? as far as I know it has to be an IP that goes in there.

Haven't had the time to double check everything yet but I know the SMTP server is in as an IP address.
